Welcome! And may I say it's excellent to see such enthusiasm. A few points:

1) I'm sure someone will throw you the wiki link to Permission soon enough (I don't know the coding to embed it myself). The short version is: we don't just hand it out willy-nilly. You'll need to hang around for a month while we get to know you a bit first.

2) You will indeed have to show off your writing; how else can Permission-worthiness be judged, if not by checking your writing skills?

3) Most excellent reasons for writing. I heartily approve.

And a subsidiary 4) Tell us more about this sinister side. From what little you say it sounds like the sort of idea that could do to be run past the Board first.

Hello. I'm MAXinsanity, as you can see from the name.

I write, draw, and play vidya games, plus i've read several PPC missions now.

I've written fanfiction once before. I think I did pretty well (Don't find it though, I'll hate you for it).

I also have got a rather large original story in my head. I want to keep it a surprise, so I'm not going to say much more about it other than that it'll be one of the more major points in my PPC writing.

Speaking of my PPC writing, I've already got some done, and have about 2 or 3 agents written down already... The more sinister side of the PPC is also a central role in my PPC related writing, portraying it as slightly more destructive and manipulating than what I've seen everyone else write it like. And each of the stories I've written down are far larger than a mission, rather they're more like a series of missions with original stuff interspersed inside every now and then.

...And that brings me to why I'm here:

1. I want permission.
2. I want to show off some of my writing, which I will if I have to do so in order to get said permission.
3. I'll improve my writing doing this, and get lulz in the process.

Another member of the Data comm posted links to her fics about Data having hot smutty sex with black women. Not that I mind Data having a relationship with a black woman (or whoever), but I mind having the fic being about only the sex part of it. And there's also a fic about B4. The owner of the comm had to set the community to 'mature' because of these fics.

I read the first 2 chapters, which is pretty much what's out, and there are already the counselor on the Enterprise, the Sue and her family and friends (I skimmed through that), and I think the rest will come later. I had the link from a LJ comm of Data fans, one of the members posted links to her fic there. I think my Agents are going to kill the whole thing in desperation. Or whatever. (no, that doesn't mean What' is going to commit suicide. Don't rejoice so fast.)
As for the House fic, it was a Sue who caught some disease when she was abducted and dragged in South America and who died (or was it her mother? I don't even remember), but it was all a dream! So she's saved in the end. And the Sue's mother was a childhood friend of House, back at a time when he was nice. Which makes the mother a Sue, too.

What on earth are you going to do with the GAJILLION OCs in that fic? O.o As Barid said, if you have that many, just write an original story already. It boggles the mind. My deepest sympathies to your agents.

Also, out of morbid curiosity, what was the House one like?

Agents tend to base snow forts off canon locations.

I found a couple of syncing errors I missed, but I liked writing them. I may write more.

I was there (in Uppsala, near Stockholm, more precisely) for a job interview, and I was told it was supposed to be covered in snow at this time of the year. I saw the first snow on December 1st. Yay global warming.

No snow in Hull either, though the rain was threatening to turn to sleet last night.

With a Sue and a "soulmate" plot. Sue is paired with Data. Ouch.

The problem was it was hard to think of a rhyme for "gold" and "ocs", so I just though "what the heck" and just winged it.

Nice to see new faces around here. Lovely to meet you. Here, have a bag of pebbles and a Random Shiny Object. Useful for throwing at Sues and staring at, respectively (although throwing the Shiny at a Sue might distract her, come to think of it).
