You know? Not all consoles might do it the same way, owing to how odd the PPC is. I'd assume there'd be more than one filing/designation system, and good old temporal uncertainty did the rest, so now they're in use at the same time. Confusing is PPC HQ's stock in trade.

I suppose the Agents could just know what the letter strings mean or geuess from the fic itself...

Well, I've seen far more where the consoles and the Flowers just referred to the continua by name.

All continua have an official designation, as laid out by the Flowers. I've seen multiple different references to this...

I've got ... six agents I can give you, for starters. Will have to wait til I get home, though, as working out stats for fictional characters in card games probably doesn't count as proper use of my work time :)

Surely you remember Four? Tom Baker was ace. That scarf! The silly hair! That said, I don't actually have a shrine to Four in my living room, to which myself and my housemate have been known to pray on occasion. So I think my main problem with Eleven is that he's just not suitable eye candy, not after the delectable delights of Ten.

I know, I know, I'm meant to watch it because it's a good show. And it is good, albeit filled with painfully bad science, but it was Ten who got me watching it. It was bad enough this past autumn, with no Robin Hood and so no pretty men on the box of a Saturday night. With Ten gone, I'll be doomed. Or doomed to watch repeats on BBC3 obsessively, at any rate.

They are pursuing Remus, Sirius, and Severus and we may possibly have paedo/dubious age of consent issues there (again, hard to tell because of the weird/wrong timelines). Possible unlicenced animagi 'Sues. One of them has an ipod, though it theoretically takes place in 1996-97. One wears Hot Topic "bondage pants"...

He's a 40k fan as well. Personally, I don't know anything about the fandom, so I'm no help.
