I'm not sure. For a start, I don't think Pansy's been given much description beyond "ugly". Secondly, her personality would either a) hinder my attempts to make you feel sorry for her or b) change radically after the attacks, in which case, somebody would notice.

I need the rest at home - I'm working eight-hour shifts today and tomorrow because I work at a cinema and it's busy season. Gah. Hate hate hate. Thank God it's closed on Christmas Day.

Well done to all those people who faced a marathon migration back home! Hope that the holidays are worth it. XD

I got the Oxford tube. So I got to read more PPC on the bus and be stared at. XD But at least there's a bus stop in Victoria so I didn't have to face the (real) tubes to get the train home to Chavstone.

Mind you, I'm only staying home until New Years, then I'm running back to Oxford and the peaceful bliss of my own bedroom that I don't have to share and an Internet connection I don't have to fight for.

Though really, hS, I think it's the sheer amount of stuff you churn out on a regular basis that has earned you the reputation of a minor deity--that and the fact that it's good stuff. The Permission-Giver part is sort of incidental.

But still, in the immortal words of Monty Python's God:

I'm snug in my bed at home in DC right now, leaving the frozen wastes of Wisconsin behind me. I'm not sure if that's traveling though, or more a "college student who hasn't settled down yet" thing.

I'm hoping to see the inauguration, though--will that make up for the lack of "visiting new places"-ness?
