Um... my name's Cobweb, I'm new here, and I'm a little bewildered. Are there any requirements I have to reach before writing a PPC story, or before I can be in one? Is this even the right place to post?

If not, sorry, my bad.

What would happen if a Shinigami from Bleach went to Lyra's world from His Dark Materials? What would the relationship between zanpakuto spirit and daemon form be?

just one nitpick though.

Kobayashi is Risa's family name, not her given name. Ansela tends to ignore family names in conversation, unless there are two people with the same given name in the area. In which case she's just as likely to come up with a wholly inappropriate nickname as she is to use family names.

Or make assumptions, or… I dunno, read what you have very carefully. Or AU the story once the material comes out. I've… sort'f got something like that, but that's pretty AU from the start.

HP fandom tended to be full of theories before the next book came out, I think. So they could, y'know, be going on that sort of thing. Or if it's an adaptation, I guess maybe going to the first source is another option?

OA was ranting at me (I did volunteer to be ranted at, just so you know) for a loooooong time. However, we are discussing redeeming the five-year-old sister, who to be fair doesn't seem as bad. She's ben forced into a bit of Sueishness, but it's only to make the main Sue look better.

First of all: This? Not a Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle fanfic. It only vaguely resembles to Acid!Tokyo world and the cast is made up of X/1999 characters. Who, other than Fuuma, Kamui and Kakyou, the author apparently doesn't know the names of.

Second: The girl does not seem to understand the term "post-apocalyptic landscape". Her clothing is ridiculous and her sister has a pink coat for some reason.

Third: The DLI is Kamui. That alone makes me want to kill her and he's not even my LO.

Fourth: The girl bitches out Fuuma for no reason and makes him run away from her. She also might have beaten up Yuzuriha, she didn't give the poor girl a name or description. It might have been Arashi or Karen but that's just as bad.

Fifth: She claims to be Touya's sister. Yeah, that's right, Kinomoto Touya. I'm not joking. Her sister is also named Freya, though she bares no resemblance so far to the Chobit.




I'm claiming it. Kurmori and Georgia will kill, possibly by stoning.

There's a movie coming out?

And how does one write a fic for something before it's out? Are they a prophet or something?

Though due to my horrible memory for names, I hadn't made the connection between you and the "shock images" so it's really got nothing to do with that. However, Janus really is rather Stuish and not really what the PPC is looking for. Work on him a bit more and post around the board a bit more and maybe then.

Of course, I'm not even remotely close to a Permission Giver but hey! Neither is July or Sara. *looks around for PGs* I'm sure they'll be here any second, with their snazzy hat.

...this humble midbie has to agree. I don't know you very well at all, mate, and mainly it's because I barely ever see you post. I also took a look at Janus...and...he needs some work. Lastly, I haven't seen much of your writing style, so...if I were a PG (which I'm definitely not--though the Hat is oh-so-snazzy) I'd probably tell you no.

But, hey, you're off to a good start. Some work on Janus would make him a good addition to the PPC, and we'd like to get to know you better. So post! Tell us what you feel about things. You don't have to show us that you're unsquickable, just comment on things that interest you or make you cringe or make you snerk. If you disagree about something, then let us know! Talk to us, mate--even the midbies and the newbies, as silly as we may seem.
