All this debate over where the centreline should be made me realise something: who cares? We're not comparing ourselves to the outside world, here - we're comparing with each other.

So I created an Average Responder, and used them as the zero-point.

That Average Responder is apparently Des. [Shrugs] And we have two people who are 'far right' relative to the average - but note that ScapeDeathToAllCapitalistsGrace is only fairly moderate left, indicating a massive skew in the baseline.

It is interesting that EAIUO and Dark Brother both fall off the fairly consistent diagonal line - you're not nearly as authoritarian as one would expect from the trend. Make of that what you will.

But you know what this graph needs, to make it 100% more awesome?

A bit more D&D.

(Dark colours are Evil, light are Good; the Good/Evil axis mirrors around the centreline. It seemed the fairest way.)

The land of Polyticz is a pleasant realm, prospering under the rule of King Desdendelle. He rules with a light hand, though those who transgress his laws watch in fear for the coming of General July and Chief Constable sonofheaven176.

The king's chief advisors are Darkotas the Kind, World-Jumper the Erratic, and Pippa's Ghost the Lawyer, who seeks to uphold the law regardless of right or wrong. The apolitical Phobos, Iximaz, PoorCynic, and SeaTurtle can often be seen around his castle, and the wandering knight Huinesoron visits at times - though at others, it is said he attacks the king's distant holdings.

Yet all is not well in Polyticz. True, the Uber Overlord who stands in opposition to the king is known to rule as laxly as Desdendelle, but his great Admiral Dark Brother 16 wages relentless war on the marches of Polyticz. And there are home-grown troubles, too - the notorious revolutionaries known as the Free Radicals seek to bring down all of Desdendelle's domains. Should Kaitlyn, Artell, and Scapegrace get their way, Polyticz will have neither laws nor love, but only endless war.

(Because what we really needed was a second Medieval AU, and one which massively misrepresents people... ^_^)
